3 Tips to Get More Likes on Facebook

Facebook is by far the most popular social media site. About 68% of all Americans use Facebook. So you probably know your business can’t ignore it. And with so many people on there sometimes we can struggle to get noticed. So in this article I’m going to go over 3 tips to get more likes on Facebook.

  1. Post at the right times. By posting at times your friends and followers are on Facebook you’re more likely to have your post seen and get more likes. You may have noticed when you post on Facebook that post only gets shown to a small percentage of your friends and followers. But Facebook will show posts that seem like they are more popular to a larger percentage of your friends and followers. One way to make your post more popular is to get more likes right away when the post is published. To do that post when most of your friends and followers are on Facebook. You can find out when your followers are most on Facebook by looking at your fan page’s insights. For example, on our Tampa web design company’s Facebook page we’ve found some of the best times to post are later in the evenings on weekdays.
  2. Use better images. Images play one of the most important factors in determining whether someone likes a post or not. Using better quality images can get you more likes. You may want to test out some different styles of images until you find ones that tend to work well for your business. To find out what works best, there are a number of photo purchasing website where you can get great stock photography and graphics to test out.
  3. Post more often. Facebook only shows your posts to a small percentage of your friends and followers. They base this percentage off how well or how popular your posts are and how frequently or consistent your post. So if you increase your posts frequently and consistently your posts will start showing to a larger percentage of your friends and followers.
